Prison Justice Ministry

Our prison system is full of injustice, particularly for people who have committed non-violent, or victimless, crimes.   Such non-violent criminals often have no business in a prison, but simply need rehabilitation.  Mega School 1 wants to affirm the dignity, and often masculinity, of non-violent prisoners, this is done through a business partnership that generates funds to pay their family's bills.  This may seem impossible but we believe this can be done legally, ethically, and self-sustainably.

"‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me.’" - Matthew 25:37-40 NASB

How Prisoners Provide for Family

Protect Funds for Family

We create a trust to protect the funds generated for the family.

Generate Funds for Family

We generate funds for the family through GivBux, government funding programs (TIBRIB, GIB), and Learning Parties,.

Distribute Funds to Family

We distribute funds to the family through the trust.

Protect Funds for Family

Prisoners cannot legally earn new income, however, a prisoner can create a trust, and then that trust can earn income, and then the trust pays the family's bills, this is the family trust fund.  See the video below for a high level overview of how trusts work.

Generate Funds for Family

The family trust receives ongoing funding through GivBux (revenue sharing), the TIB BountyRIB Bounty, GIB Bounty, and Learning Parties (tips).  When the incarcerated earns income from any of these, they will be paid directly to the family trust fund.

Distribute Funds to Family

Mega School 1 will ensure family trust funds are distributed only to the family.  This may be through a lawyer or whoever the incarcerated finds appropriate.  We will make sure only the family gets the family trust funds.
